FINANCIEEL MEDEWERKER

Voor ons hoofdkantoor in de Houthavens in Amsterdam zijn wij op zoek naar een ambitieuze, goed georganiseerde en proactieve Financieel Medewerker (32/40 uur) die een cruciale rol zal spelen in het bijdrage aan onze algehele financiële gezondheid en optimalisatie van onze organisatie.

Functieomschrijving:

In deze veelzijdige functie ben je ben je (mede) verantwoordelijk voor de financiële administratie van ons kantoor. Je bent verantwoordelijk voor het invoeren van mutaties in ons systeem. Daarnaast verzorg je de debiteuren- en crediteurenadministratie. Indien nodig onderhoud je zowel telefonisch als schriftelijk contact met onze interne afdelingen, klanten en externe partijen. Verder ondersteun je bij het maken van financiële rapportages en kan je ingezet worden bij allerlei overige financieel gerelateerde projecten.

Werkzaamheden:  

• Beheren van het grootboek: controleren, coderen en boeken van inkoopfacturen en declaraties
• Beheren van bankrekeniningen: verwerken van bankrekeningen en het creëren van betaalbestanden en betaalopdrachten
• Crediteuren en Debiteuren administratie: beheer de facturatieprocessen en zorg voor tijdige betalingen aan leveranciers en nauwkeurige registratie van ontvangen betalingen van klanten
• Maand- en jaarafsluiting: assisteren bij het opstellen van maandelijkse en jaarlijkse financiële overzichten
• Budgetbeheer: assisteren bij de voorbereiding van budgetten/prognoses en de werkelijke prestaties monitoren ten opzichte van de begrote cijfers
• Financiële rapportages: Genereren van periodieke en ad-hoc overzichten en rapportages om inzicht te geven in de prestaties van ons bedrijf

Dit ben jij: 

• Je hebt een relevante opleiding genoten op minimaal MBO/HBO-niveau
• Goede beheersing van de Nederlandse en Engelse taal  
• Je bent precies, nauwkeurig en goed met cijfers
• Je werkt zelfstandig, je bent stressbestendig en flexibel
• Kennis van Exact Online, Basecone of ItsPerfect is een pré

About The Job

Are you passionate about sustainability and dedicated to make a positive impact at a durable plush-making-company? We are seeking an enthusiastic Sustainability Intern (32/40 hours) to join our team. You will play a crucial role in supporting our sustainability team, working on various projects such as: working on our B-Corp impact assessment for recertification, gathering sustainability information from our suppliers and co-writing our sustainability report. And, since we’re still a relatively small team, you’ll get plenty of responsibility and real opportunities to gain valuable, hands-on experience!

The number of days you work is 4 till 5 days, with 2 to 3 days at our office. Based at our headquarters in Amsterdam, running for six months, ideally from September to February.

The organization is currently in a phase of further professionalization to facilitate growth, making this an excellent opportunity for a talented Product Development Coordinator to grow with the organization in terms of role and responsibilities. 

Key Responsibilities

• Teaming up with our sustainability crew on their daily tasks.
• Helping write our sustainability report.
• Supporting the recertification process for our B Corp certification.
• Working with different teams to collect key sustainability information.
• Organizing internal events, workshops, and/or training sessions on sustainability.
• Spreading the word and boosting awareness of our sustainability efforts!

Qualifications

• You’re currently studying for an HBO degree, preferably in Environmental Science, Sustainability, or related field.
• Fluent in English (written & spoken) – a second language is a plus!
• Hands-on, curious, and always ready to learn.
• Passionate about sustainability and creating a better world.
• Analytical, detail-oriented, and a great problem-solver.
• A team player who can also work independently.
• Interested in AI & ChatGPT (we love innovation!).
