What is 1% For The Planet?
1% For The Planet is a global network of companies that donate at least 1% of their annual sales to environmental organisations.
In our case, it’s actually more like 3%.
Which equals 25% of the entire Bon Ton Toys profit.
A contribution we’ve been making for 30 years now. That may not quite make us Patagonia, but we’re proud to be doing our part nonetheless.
So what is it we do?
- Donate directly to one or more approved environmental organisations -
- Submit donation receipts and revenue documentation to certify as a 1% for the Planet member -
- Tap into the 1% For The Planet network to inspire others to take action -
- Work together with other companies to collectively support people & planet -
